Bless this house, Oh Lord we pray
Make it safe by night and day

Bless these walls so firm and stout
Keeping want and trouble out

 

Bless the roof and chimneys tall
Let thy peace lie over all

Bless this door that it may prove
Ever open to joy and love

 

Bless these windows shining bright
Letting in God’s heavenly light

Bless the hearth, a-blazing there
With smoke ascending like a prayer

 

Bless the people here within
Keep them pure and free from sin

Bless us all that we may be
Fit Oh Lord to dwell with thee

Bless us all that we, one day,

may dwell Oh Lord, we pray

  

이 집을 축복하소서 우리가 기도 하옵기는
당신의 축복으로 이 집이 밤낮으로 안전하게 하시고

당신의 축복으로 이 벽을 튼튼하고 두텁게하여 필요한

것들 지켜주시고 해로운 것으로부터 막아주시고

당신의 축복으로 이 지붕과 굴뚝을 높게 하셔서

당신의 평화가 집안 곳곳에 내리게 하시고

당신의 축복으로 이 문이

항상 기쁨과 사랑을 향해 열게하소서.
 
당신의 축복으로 이 창들이 하나님의 천국

 빛이 들어와 환히 빛나게 하시고

당신의 축복으로 이 집안에 난로가 불타오르게 하시고
연기가 기도처럼 피어 오르게 하시고

당신의 축복으로 이 집에 사는 이들이 정결하고

죄가 없게 지켜주시고

당신과 함께 살기에 합당하도록

우리 모두를 축복하시고

언젠가는 당신과 함께 살 수 있도록

우리 모두를 축복하소서.
